This initial consultation includes:
1. A 90-minute in-depth functional consultation with Dr. Engels
2. Comprehensive lab testing included
3. Diagnostic lab interpretation
4. Personal and family health history review
5. Body Composition analysis
6. A 60-minute session with our health coach for functional nutrition, lifestyle strategy, and goal setting
This is a total of 150 minutes with functional medicine experts designed to start your transformational journey.

Foundational Assessment Details
Your appointment includes lab work and is the first step towards identifying the underlying factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.
Before your visit, Dr. Engels will order blood work so she can review your results with you during the appointment. Together, you will begin connecting the dots between your symptoms, health history, and lab findings. By the end of the visit, you will have greater clarity about what may be affecting your health and a clear path forward.
The assessment includes two separate appointments; a 90 minute appointment with Dr. Engels, plus a 60 minute appointment with our health coach.
This appointment is necessary to establish care at WeCare Frisco and is only available for Texas residents 18 years and older.
The Foundational Lab Panel would typically cost approximately $2,000 through an outside facility. Because WeCare Frisco has negotiated substantially reduced cash-pay pricing with our laboratory partners, we are able to include the full panel in the Foundational Assessment and pass those savings directly on to our patients.
